Good Samaritan Inn provides short-term crisis accommodation and support to around 100 women, children and young people every year.
Our communal setting provides opportunities for mutual support and the companionship of others who share similar experiences of family violence. In recognition of the founders and trustees, the Sisters of the Good Samaritan and their Benedictine tradition, we extend hospitality to the women, children and young people who are all welcomed as guests at the Inn.
Our communal model has benefitted many women, such as new mothers, women who are struggling with alcohol and drug dependency awaiting rehabilitation, and women who are extremely socially isolated.
